Indeed. What is of interest is that this was a MR handicap over 2 divisions with no preset MR level for 60 kgs. If it had we would have thought twice before nominating. This weight was decided "at the sole discretion of the handicapper" effectively making the race a 99 MR with top weight 65,5 kgs. You nominate and then receive your weight based on whoever else nominated.

Is it fair ? I'll let you be the judge but he runs anyway with Gavin Lerena in the saddle, which might just weigh as much as him !!!! First run back after 6 1/2 months off I would not expect too much.
