Big City Life cast all doubts aside last night at Greyville with his emphatic win in the KRA Guineas, this time coming from behind to outgun a leading contingent of his peers. He’s a long legged staying type with a high cruising speed and should be perfectly suited to the July 2200m later this season. His next start is awaited with interest..

Maritime Mist is lead in by her connections after winning the 9th race at Greyville

Craig Eudey had been speaking highly of Maritime Mist for some time now and with her eye catching action she smothered out Harbour Light to close off the meeting in fine style.

In the same race, featured nag Leading Light was never in contention and lingered in last of all with the jockey not persisting to the finish. Perhaps something amiss on the night after trouble in the stalls during loading, perhaps not.. that's racing and hard luck stories carry no refunds.
