Although only a small field and JJ has too much class for his rivals, being against the standside rail(high draw)is massive at windsor, JJ is drawn 1..

J J team hoping Windsor run will bring him on

MIKE DE KOCK'S latest bid to add a Royal Ascot victory to his record of international triumphs gets off the ground at Windsor on Monday night where J J The Jet Plane makes his European debut.

A dual Grade 1 winner in South Africa and successful in a Group 3 prize during the latest Dubai Carnival, J J The Jet Plane seeks a Listed win to put him on the right track for the Golden Jubiliee Stakes, his royal meeting goal.

De Kock's assistant Juan Nel reckons the five-year-old is "not quite at 100 per cent" but the 120-rated sprinter should still be too good for six rivals despite the concession of 7lbs to the likes of the 109-rated Intrepid Jack.

J J The Jet Plane is an 8-1 chance for the Golden Jubilee and connections underline his claim to what is developing into a showdown between the world's leading sprinters.

"His preparation has gone very well but he's not quite at 100 per cent for Windsor, this run will just bring him on," said Nel.

"Ryan Moore will be riding for the first time in a race but he came down and rode him in a gallop on the Rowley Mile last week and seemed to get on well with him.

"If all goes well on Monday, we will be looking towards the Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot with him."

I sould be there in time for the 1st race mate - Jim
