Interactive Tone Recognition (ITR) betting is in operation again.
To utilise ITR, existing TAB telephone betting customers must have their accounts activated for online betting. This will give them a 6-digit numerical pin code, enabling them to bet online and to access the ITR platform.
ITR betting is easy with a voice menu to walk users through the various processes. Inevitably, customers will find it slow until they familiarise themselves with the numbers assigned to each function.
To activate a telephone account for online, WAP and ITR betting, call 0861 555 822. To bet using the ITR platform, call 0861 888 822.
ITR can be used whenever the TAB betting system is operational, but it’s best utilised for betting on selected evening race meetings when the telephone betting centre is closed. It should be noted that placing a bet by ITR is slower than normal phone betting and that the platform is limited to 30 calls simultaneously.
