5 WINS and a graded placing to top sprinter and no increase in MR. Why?

Because he rarely runs to that mark. Let alone above it. That's only my reading, nothing official.

What would it help if he even gets another two point increase in merit rating.
He only compete's in PE and take on horses with 100 merit ratings with level weights all the time.
He will finish this year with 30 wins.
To many Pinacle races only made for him.
L.....e.....v.....e......l. Weights in all his races.

What's wrong with creating opportunities for the best horse in town to appear for his fans and create a very good exotic bets banker in the process? I hope he wins another 24!

24 time winner with 9 wins(average winning dist 2,75 lengths) a 2nd and a 4th in his last 11 starts i think a 114 is a fair assesment.

His run in Cape Town he ran to a 99.Amazing how the MR system is misunderstood........If you ran yesterdays race every day for a month he would be a 50 time winner but that does not affect his MR (ability) rating!

I have a fair understanding of the handicapping system, i battle to get my head around the fact that a horse that has never won a Grade 1 can have such a high racing figure. I undersatnd why he does but surely there must be weakness in the system somewhere.

Beating everything in PE and then contending big Grade 1 races at top weight everywhere else doesn't give him much of a chance.
