French racing joke "again"
16 years 6 days ago
Just thinking of these poor punters in out totes listening to Tellytrack and punting on false favs by just looking at the tote boards, the tote fav is a 10/1 shot and we actually have a hot fav in the race.
Cant blame Julie, but she is quoting to the public no 6 is a hot fav for the race. which is a 10/1, shot, the actual fav is 3 at 7/10

Well the 6 horse won Scotia at 10/1 so those guys in the totes must be laughing.

I see that C and C, but what will it pay?
The result is not the issue, its misleading info to the punters, in this case just a fluke.

How is this different to Singapore or Hong Kong? Just curious, but why is it always France that is singled out?

Just for info paid R3.90 or 3/1 and was 12/1 on the French tote.
The tote fav here ended up being no 3.

Feel the same way Magic, its just that France is on, plus you get to see the tote boards in Singapore and Hong Kong and get a truer reflection on the odds quoted.

However forgetting the odds, the racing is first class and looking forward to the sprint.

Fair enough, Dave. I agree that French racing is great and I'm delighted to watch. BTW, any ideas why we virtually never cover Irish racing any more?

Gutsy win from tax free
Irish racing? maybe they cant understand the commentaries? lol
We are gradually moving towards tote based products, give the punter as little info as possible, S.P.s are not a factor, just the number and tote dividend, I am sure the horses name is also a bind, virtual racing should solve all the problems.
