Murtagh, Spencer and Moore all Banned!

Hectic stuff, you win great races and get punished, very tight control.
Murtagh and Spencer miss end of Royal Ascot
ROYAL ASCOT will be missing a pair of its star names for the final two days of the meeting after Johnny Murtagh and Jamie Spencer incurred five-day bans at Epsom.
Spencer's ban was handed down for careless riding on Sariska in the Investec Oaks after she weaved across the course up the home straight in the process of winning, causing problems for sixth-placed Phillipina and Rainbow View, who ran fourth.
The former champion is banned from June 19 to June 23 and so misses the Friday and Saturday of the royal meeting.
The final day includes the Wokingham Handicap whose ante-post favourite, High Standing, was ridden by Spencer on its most recent start.
Murtagh misses the same period after also being found guilty of careless riding in the Investec Coronation Cup when he allowed his mount Frozen Fire to drift to the rails 'without correction' and so interfere with Buccellati.
Champion jockey Ryan Moore was also in bother after the Coronation Cup for his ride on the winner, Ask. He was found to have used his whip with excessive frequency in the frantic finish without allowing his mount to respond and was banned for three days (June 21-23).
Seb Sanders will miss the same three days for causing interference in the Investec Challenge Handicap on Seeking The Buck.
