Outer Limits vs The Big "T"

Good morning all, just watching Tellytrack and looks like a great vibe at Outer Limits for July Day, but any plans to get people to the Big T, must be a good opportunity to get non racegoers to the track?
Any ideas or thoughts, or maybe we do have a few parties planned?
I am sure William and Scott, will have something special on the cards.

your comments, thoughts please.

.....must be a good opportunity to get non racegoers to the track?....

perhasps, advertise where these non racegoers read....other than teletrack, computerform...

Have not seen any advertising outside teletrack or the normal racing mags.
maybe, turfontein makes so much money, they dont want the racegoers at the track?

If you want to sell biltong in china, perhaps we will have to advertise in china?

Thanks Andre, I never knew that the Chinese had eyes like that from chewing biltong?

Fair comment, on attracting non racegoers, but I have seen nothing, on racing shows on normal press on the July at the big T. but I now know everything about Outer Limits. cheers Bonski.

If we actually consider what is happening via tellytrack we are attracting racegoers and racehorse people towards the "Outer Limits", I am considering it myself.

Another opportunity missed, a marketing strategy should of been in place and promoted 3 months ago. Nu use suddenly coming up with something 3 weeks before the event, would be a hit and miss senario.

They are expecting +/- 2000 pax. not all will be race people and may be an opportunity to convert a few people

People dont mind taking their chances with their money but would prefer not to risk their lives going to Lagos. This may be an exageration but is definitely a perception.

What woriies me is that they wont have tote facilities available at Outer Limits. Racing no really benefitting to the maximum

True Al, unfortunately the 'headquarters of Gauteng racing' will always be in Turffontein, next to the rubbish dump; I think we need an alternative venue- oh wait we had one some time ago, was it Newbury, Newlands, now I remember - it was Newamarket
