J J The Jet Plane displayed his well-being ahead of Friday week's Darley July Cup in a workout at Newmarket on Thursday morning.
Mike de Kock's ace was accompanied by a galloping companion in the pleasing spin on the July course.
Juan Nel, assistant to De Kock, said: "He had a really good workout and we're extremely happy with him.
"He was really put through his paces and is looking extremely well, better than before Ascot.
"We are really looking forward to the race and I think you'll see a different horse at Newmarket."
The five-year-old was fourth to Art Connoisseur when sent off favourite for the Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot after making a successful British debut at Windsor.
He is a top-priced 12-1 to take July Cup honours

Australian sprint stars Scenic Blast and Takeover Target came through a Newmarket morning workout with flying colours ahead of next week's July Cup.
Scenic Blast routed the opposition with an impressive display in the King's Stand at Royal Ascot, while Takeover Target was forced to miss the summer showpiece meeting after suffering from a high temperature.
Scenic Blast's trainer Danny Morton said: "It was all good and he came through it with no worries.
"We just have to keep him ticking over now.
"He's a fitter horse than he was at Ascot, but he needs to be as it's six furlongs and it's a different ball game.
"Obviously it's a different track as well, but he's where he needs to be."
Joe Janiak, trainer of Takeover Target, added: "Everything went well and he seems in good form.
"He is all set for the July Cup now and we are looking forward to it.

GROUND conditions for the July festival which starts on Wednesday at Newmarket eased considerably on Monday, after the course was hit by showers during the afternoon.
Having given the going as good to firm at 3.15pm following 3.5mm of rain, clerk of the course Michael Prosser was forced to revise the ground description following just short of 10mm over the next three hours.
He said: "We have been seeing showers throughout Monday and by 6pm 13mm had fallen on the July Course. As a result I have changed the going description from good to firm to good."

Going to be one of the smallest July cup fields i can remember, doubts over 2 or 3 of the remaining entrants(paco boy and fleeting spirit doubts).De Kock`s Imbongi would have had a chance in this if he had been entered imo? JJ has a chance of at least some prize money, does not seem to be loads of pace in the race which could set it up for Scenic blasts turn of foot..

Paco Boy is unlikely to take up either of his engagements in Britain this week.
Richard Hannon's Queen Anne hero is entered in Friday's Darley July Cup and the Summer Mile at Ascot 24 hours later.
However the trainer told his website, www.richardhannonracing.tv , : "Paco Boy is still in the July Cup, but the forecast is for only showers at Newmarket and it sounds like being a similar story at Ascot, and he won't be going anywhere until the ground eases.
"In all probability, his next two races will be in France, the Prix Maurice de Gheest over six and a half furlongs and then back there for the Prix Jacques le Marois. We can fly there from our gallops, so travelling is not a problem."
