Tonight's racing at Greyville has me totally lost in translation but Sunday at Clairwood is a different proposition altogether and the punting hook has been far better baited.
In the 8th race El Padrino has been out of his depth in recent times and returns now to what looks to be a more chewable bite, both in terms of opposition and race distance. He is lumped with top weight and a bum draw so the 7/1 opening call may well lengthen by raceday.. best to wait it out to 10/1 and then strike.

In the 4th race 12/10 favourite Luminary should get it right this time and has only Bit of Bizet to pin back. The rest of the field has found 1 placing between them and this is surely a two horse race if ever there was one.
In race 7 Buscador looks the pick and opened at 9/2 which represents solid value and is worth a bet at the price. He's a top racehorse on his day and considering the calibre of competition he usually takes on, he won't get an easier chance at winning than this.
Mr. Aahlee Dee looks to be a good thing on paper in the 3rd race, he's favourite at 12/10 in a small and weak maiden field over 2500m and should have no problems putting daylight between himself and the chasers. His stable companion King's Order is off form at present leaving only Kabuki to contend with who looks well held. Much like race 4, there's 1 placing to share amongst the rest of the field making this another contest worth investing in.
