Scouser stand up and be counted

In my thread on the sale of a share in our Kahal filly , a poster called Scouser made serious comments implying impropriety on the part of SA's leading trainer, alternatively his jockeys and the fact that his horses/jockeys weren't trying too hard in the SCottsville first race yesterday.

1.I am sure the thousands of punters countrywide who regularly fall victim to treachery in the sport would like to get the full story from Scouser. The KZN Stipes (tel: 031 3141500 - Sean Patterson) or Vee Moodley and Mike de Kock would definitely also like to speak to him too - as Scouser apparently has information that might prove beneficial to a possible investigation into alleged impropriety on the part of De Kock, Bernard Fayd'Herbe , Warren Kennedy and Raymond Danielson. They 'weren't trying too hard' according to him.

2.On the other hand, one wonders who Scouser is and what he knows - prove you arent just a big bek mate - tell us exactly who you are and what you know so that your conspiracy theory can take on some substance.

butch a bit over the top dont you think?

i have no idea who scouser is but giving first timers an "easy" or a "look at the course" happens all the time. trainers are asked for comments on 1st timers and we often here "will need the run", "needs further", "will be green" and other euphamisms for the horse will not be ready.

Butch , take a chill pill !

I did not insinuate for 1 minute , de Kock and his boys weren't trying to win the race in question!

However !!!! , When they saw the horse in front ( the eventual winner) , I as someone who was watching the race was of the opinion that the riders of the de Kock horses didn't exactly punish their horses to win the race (only my opinion mind you!) to win! For the record , the winner won by 8 lengths and the horse you were trying to sell on this forum was 14.25 lengths behind the winner.

If you have a problem with me telling the truth , wise up as we say in BELFAST!!!

Butch , if you want to know my opinion of Mike de Kock ask the webmaster or whoever is in charge of this website to show you my posts regarding that man . I have nothing but utmost respect for him!

FYI I know the man personally!

I also know Vee Moodley very well.

Never heard of Sean Patterson , but if you are referring to Sean PARKER head of KZN stipes , yes I also know him!

Will be glad to speak to any of them aswell as you!

I await your response!

Butch stated
Il Tanga, drawn 1, ran green, showed plenty of pace and finished a promising fifth after a very kind ride.
Puller horses never overbaked at first outing and so not the worst debut -

Scouser stated
De Kock ran 2nd , 3rd and 4th in that race none of them trying too hard.

please explain the difference between a kind ride and not trying too hard as i am not sure i understand the difference

My tongue in cheek dig at Scouser was a retort to his swipe at my marketing efforts re the Kahal filly. It was a great run in my book - she was half done and was given a kind ride - not a Mark Khan or Marcus battering exercise- as does happen.

I have been in racing long enough to understand easys and the rest.

Anyhow , alls well that ends well.

Hi Scouser

She since ran a fifth, second and then won easily at Scottsville on Sunday past in sticky underfoot conditions from a 1 draw that wasnt a 1 draw in the end. Anthony Delpech says she will win more.

Best of luck to Mr Cape Racing Marsh Shirtliff who is the new part owner.

Go well
