UK racing saturday it`s a "Grey day"

If you have never seen this race before you will think there is something wrong with your eyes.

The 1200m race worth £12k to winner is restricted to grey horses and is some sight and is worth a watch.

17 horses go to post and it`s not a race to invest much time and money on but as a spectacle there is not many better..Race is due of at 3:50 local time..

Newmarket's managing director Stephen Wallis said: 'The greys only race introduced by Michael Prosser a few years ago has quickly become an annual spectacle appreciated by racegoers and off course punters alike. Everyone likes greys, and it is great that we have a race like this once a year.'

The Tim Easterby-trained Medici Time heads the sponsors' betting and last year's winning trainer Stuart Williams is doubly-represented with Zowington and Billberry among the 17 entries in a wide-open renewal.

For those that only punt the grey in a field, a nightmare race!!!

If Sir Edward Lanseer jumps level with the others then he won't lose. This horse plays up at the start at times and gets pissed off when they load him and then has a dig at the owners by not jumping with the others. He has now joined up with another stable.
