U are sitting in the board room..
Weekly EXCO meeting..

gets to point x on the agenda..
you are questioned...
you give an answer..
the answer is noted..

the chairman of the meeting continues with the next point on the agenda..

week after week the opposite happens...

1.I will be too embarrassed to go to the meeting by week 3...
2.The EXCO members know (not think) something is wrong with you..
3.Either you are not present..clever enough to understand that you are digging a hole..for yourself...
4. not clever enough to say...either one of the 2 horses will win..or I dont know.
5. not clever enough to know that the EXCO members base decissions on what you fed back at the meeting..
6. not clever enough to know that the EXCO members are going to retrench or dismiss you..


this week..
2 stables have tipped me the winner...wrong horse...
both you could see on Interbet was no good..and the stable companion was the right one..

both stables have asked me to buy them horses..

If you cannot even give the correct answer....keep your mouth shut..or tip the correct horse...
how do you want me to believe you..
I'll have to come and look each day if the horse is still alive..being fed..

whether you need my horses or not..
think about the following...
look around you...
everyone is having a good laugh at you...the punters are the EXCO members..
sure we like you..to have a party..but to do business with you..never..
what ever you say...we take with a pinch of salt..

most of our stable will spend their days in traction..9 month spells..
dont' know when they will train..
we will have to visit them in hospital...lean a bit on the weights...to ensure we get the point accross......

I bought 122 townhouses since 2000 on sheriff auction...
have enough problems with tenants...sold many off...almost the lot..maybe 30 odd left..

trainers do the same I do...
they rent the boxes and then let them out as landlords to the owners..

in wrestling my trainer was on the mat with me..
in Judo my trainer was on the mat with me..
rugby teams that are successfull have trainers that practise with the players...

TRAINERS are FACILITATORS...Project Managers...
they dont ride the horses...they facilitate the process...

yep i'm with you...an auctioneer myself...selling them cheap every day...too many to keep up...not easy with tennants...few good ones though...i let the agency handle...that's what i pay them for.

No ur feeling with trainers but there are still good one's and if we don't have faith sometimes we will have nothing to believe in...think all of us still in it because we dream of a July winner and that's why i still stick...passion...i'll take the knock on the jaw but i LOVE THE GAME...

whenever you want let me know...anytime...although i'll be worried for the poor trainer...haha...lol
