How good is Imbongi`s form in the uk?

Since Imbongi beat Balthazaar`s gift by 1 1/2 l at newmarket six weeks ago Imbongi has gone on to finish 1l behind Aqlaam(runs grp1 sunday)in the Group 2 summer mile at Ascot.

Balthazaar`s gift was desperate in finishing second in a listed race at Chester,then ran a cracker going down by 1/2 a length by Finjaan in the grp2 Lennox stakes at Glorious goodwood(j j 5 lengths behind),then today Balthazaars`s gift sleuced up in the grp2 hungerford over 1400m.



Balthazaar`s Gift was always going well ,
held up out the back he showed a great burst of
speed to take it up and go on to win by 3l...



Winning jockey Philip Robinson said: "It's the first time I've ridden him but Clive knows his horses so well and tells you about every little quirk they have.

"Today he's got this horse spot on."

Cox said: "Many thanks to Rod Simpson who trained him in Dubai and suggested he came to us.

"I think he's a top-class horse and we shall now look at the Group One Prix de la Foret at Longchamp (October 3) with him.



Big race coming for Imbongi!!!!!!!

I've been following Balthazaars gift ever since that Imbongi run, won places when beat by Finjam and backed him yesterday, looking out for Imbongi's next run. I wonder what happening with MDK's top horse in the stable Eagle Mountain, any idea?

had a look but no latest on Eagle Mountain.

Wasn't Eagle Mountain injured again in Dubai..seems this horse is plagued with problems...pity cause I think it would of been his trump card to winning a grade 1 race in the UK.
