Fallon in demand on comeback.

Cumani among trainers in line to use Fallon
KIEREN FALLON makes his eagerly awaited comeback on Spetember 4 and trainers are already eager for his services.
The former champion jockey may even find himself engaged on a double stint at Lingfield and Kempton on his first day back race riding on Friday week.
Luca Cumani, who acclaimed Fallon on Monday as "one hell of a jockey who I'll use whenever possible", has a potential mount lined up for the former champion at Kempton's evening meeting.
"I have a horse in mind, but obviously at this stage it will not be a definite runner until I've seen the entries, so I'll not tell you the name just yet," said Cumani.
The following week, at the Ladbrokes St Leger meeting, it will be no surprise if Cumani calls up Fallon for his star juvenile filly Seta in the Group 2 DFS May Hill Stakes.
Cumanisaid: "The filly is heading for the May Hill at the moment, but we'll see how she goes in her final work. I've yet to discuss riding plans with the owner.

Looks like he has been booked to ride yumzain in the ARC.. Looks like he is going to make his comeback at Catterick a tricky track difficult to ride,so will help him get back in the swing..

It seems like a century since we saw him last, winning the Arc. I don't know how often he rode at lowly Catterick in his heyday, but right now I bet he would ride at Ngong if it got him back into the swing of things!

Catterick and the other nothern tracks is where he started of with the Ramsdens, still lists Pontefact as his favourite track.
20 years ago there was a big North/ South devide in Racing in the uk,Trainers and Jockeys didn`t travel to far..
Catterick is probably the sharpest track in the UK and will find him out if he is rusty, champion or not..

Catterick can't be sharper than Chester, surely! Still, I get your point and it will be a good test of his judgement of pace etc. It will also re-acquaint him with the joys of riding normal bread-and-butter horses, a far cry from the Ballydoyle bombs!
I look forward to his comeback and hope he's still as good as ever. A great rider, who has the chance now to resurrect his career.

I remember when Lester came back into the game, I am sure he won on his first ride and then won the Washington International with a brilliant ride, the man was a true legend in my time racing, and when you are good you are good, look forward to seeing what Fallon can do.

King Kieren could ride around a cabbage patch. He is seriously good, and has a lot of catching up to do. Obviously I don't know the guy from a bar of soap, but he strikes me as one of those men who is driven to succeed and he must be just itching to prove he still can.

Kempton is another option, but he said in an interview the other day that he has never had a ride there and would rather ride somewhere he`s rode before..
Lack of confidence?

Maybe just a dose of common sense? With so many courses in the UK he might as well not start up on one of the few he isn't familiar with.
