Pony Racing

Is there much pony racing in South Africa?

After racing at Sedgefield tonight they had 5 pony races at all "heights"..

Noticed they have been doing it quite alot lately,and im sure it`s part of their new iniative to attract new riders and racegoers..

The pony races brings racegoers to the track that would not normally attend the races so they add to the turnover on the day and maybe future racegoers/owners?
