Andy that can be done mate..there are some good NEW prescription drugs on the market now (and Im not refering to anything illegal or performance enhancing) as well as some interesting new surgery.

Also the top dieticians are nowadays very jacked up. Most of the sports dieticians getting up to 8 kgs off serious runners to improve their marathon times drastically.

All is not lost mate.

Good luck to Andrew again, copied this from Tabonlines homepage, thought that the highlighted comment was a bit strange or he was maybe badly quoted?

Surely the higher rated horses are the better horses?

RULING champion jockey Andrew Fortune has booked himself into the KeNako Golf and Sports Academy in George in the hope that he will be able to learn how to control his weight through his lifestyle and diet.

Fortune, who rode 200 winners to win the South African premiership last season but has only ridden in 141 races this season for 27 wins, told Racing Express: ``I’ve never been able to look after my weight - I have 19% body fat, while most jockeys have only three to 4% - and I’m a very competitive person. With my weight restricted to 57.5kg, I don’t get the best rides and if I can only ride the bad horses, then I must stop racing.

The highest rated horse might be the best on merit but there are alot of lower rated horses maybe in form that he can't get on due to his weight. Andrew did what most people thought was impossible, he is making changes to his life to be a better person, well done Andrew and goodluck.
