Strydom is too happy playing golf and poker to worry about being employed by a stable.........FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tommy...
the STrydom style..ride from off the pace...
Teetan..is good...but will his jump and go style suit the Kotzen horses..they all seem to be comming from off the pace...
or is a change as good as a holiday...
like Teetan..back him anyday..on the van zyl string...

Funny thing Andrew, I think Strydom is at his MOST effective when riding horses from or near the front.
That heart stopping style of his coming with a late rattle has cost him more races than I care to remember, but point taken. That is his riding style.
Teetan is a good jock and I'm sure if he has good enough horses he can ride them from anywhere......Lets see what happens for the young lad!!!

Strydom takes anything that has the speed to get to the front to the front these days,so I hardly think "Striker' is an apt nickname anymore.

Kotzen horses in durban are great cause of the Greyling factor! Not so great in the Cape. His usual comment is that the horses are working the barns down!Look at the durban strike rate compared to the cape.

not at all.. The main guy is Bass then Ramsden and Marcus. Kotzen has the horses but cant compare.Look how many winners Greyling had for him in Durban! Pirates gold was rated but never won after its maiden... till greyling, it won 5 in a row. He got lucky boy from Woodruff won first time. He even made Derryl Daniels look like one of the best... oh and National Command came from sage I think he won 4 or 5 with him
