I am starting to think that USO is a waste of time - Woodruff and Tarry yesterday, Charl yesterday and Shaheen this morning quoting Charls comments on Havasha being a stayer.
Well done to all of them anyway - nothing as nice as a suprise every now and then. No malice intended. It will be nice to see Woodruff and Mark Khan in the winners bix again.

I think De Kok was of the same opinion as Charl judging by the post race interview
Give everything but up!

Let me ask a question, and I wish all the connections all the best with the winner of the first race. My question is.....
How can a horse show this amount of pace AND then go through and win his race if he is supposed to be a "stayer". Whats worse is there were two ante post claims as well?
I'm not accusing anybody of anything funny but it all seems a little shady to me. We have owned a few race horses and we were NEVER told our horses could win, however on getting to the track they would almost always invariably open up favourites......and either win or run second.
This is really a very hard game sometimes, but congrats to all concerned anyway!!!
PS: I really like the winner of the second. What a lovely actioned horse. Hope he stays in the country!!

Scotia,
I agree with you. It is a very good sign when a young horse shows pace over sprints and then stays......My only question is. If it had RUN ON over the 1200m and won well I could agree that the connections did not think it could win, but to show such pace and win? You cannot tell me somebody did not notice it worked at least half pace in the mornings?
Agreed though, The de Kock yard again have some good looking young horses.

Tommy think they took it through a line with Beit Bridge? seemingly Havasha can`t get near him and Piquet got to 1/2 a length of Beit Bridge?
