How much would it cost to buy an Irish Derby winner Frozen Fire and an Irish Derby second Golden Sword the later was also 5th in the Epsom Derby beaten 2l by Sea the Stars.

MDK will be a genius if he manages to get Frozen fire to win a grp1 again, the horse has looked a nutcase in his last few runs..

quote from MDK`S SITE "We are delighted at these acquisitions, it is not every day one gets to train an Irish Derby winner or one that has finished close to a world superstar.''

Was reading the USA review on racing post website, when i come across this comment..

Belmont Park: Matron Stakes (Grade 2) 7f, dirt, 2yo fillies

Awesome Maria (Stan Hough/Cornelio Velasquez) stepped up from a Saratoga maiden win for an emphatic victory over Touching Beauty.

The winner was a 7-2 chance; 4-5 favourite Worstcasescenario was eased inthe stretch.

Those horses are average they would be the equivalent to what gets sold to Mike de Kock each year from Ballydoyle anyone agree?

Lol i take it the poster thinks Ballydoyle are dumping average horses?

What about Eagle Mountain?

Great start, leading with 18 winners up to 17 September, but only 4th by stakes earned so far. Win strike rate is a fantastic 26.5%.

Archipenko and Eagle mountain were not highly rated as these two, but all became group winners in Mdk's care. If those horses remain sound i'm sure he'll land a G1 or two
