Spring arrives in KZN..
A refreshing change greets punters this weekend as racing in KZN returns
to Greyville on Sunday afternoon and it's pretty damn decent racing
too.. if the weather holds out. No rain is forecast for Saturday and
Sunday but on Thursday we had light rain (on and off) throughout the day
and with the same predicted for Friday, things could get a little sticky
at the city track. Considering that for the last 2 months local racing
has been restricted to Scottsville and Clairwood where the ground has
been bone-jarring hard and fast, this switch to Greyville in the soft
with the false rail set to only 2 meters, is likely to stick the Freddie
Krugers into current collateral formlines. For this reason I'm going to
adopt a wait and see approach with a watchful eye on the rainfall
between now and then. For a preview of the meeting visit Interbet on
Facebook (Interbet Sa) or one of our affiliate sites on Sunday morning -
Happy punting..
