Phumelela/Betfair Streaming Video Feed

This deal perplexes me.

Phumelela has a deal with a company that they continually castigate. They advertise in their own form guides that it is illegal for locals to bet @ BF,and yet they are quite happy to provide BF with a feed so that international clients will hopefully bet into our SA tote pools through the tote site that BF now has.

My question is,why do we as South African punters who are already betting into the SA tote not have online streaming video of ONLY SA RACING?We constantly get bombarded with crap racing from the most insignificant of racing centres so that those that already play racing will turn over more money.Surely it's more logical to try and grow the local fan base and get them to turnover more on our own racing.

It seems that Phumelela have become so obsessed with cracking the international market that the captured market that they already have are simply considered secondary in importance now.

Personally I will continue to boycott the tote until they have their ducks in a row.
