KZN racing alert – 9 days 5 meetings.. what a game!!
Summerveld Thursday morning.
Busy busy in KZN over the next 9 days with 5 meetings on the program but how many we actually get to see is another story altogether. This past Wednesday was to be the first night meeting in two months here but never materialised after being abandoned due to inclement weather. Tonight’s meeting stands in similar jeopardy as the weather forecast promises another wipe-out with a similar prediction lined up for Sunday too; spring rains to wash us right through to mid next week. Already the racecards are out for the next 3 KZN meetings (Fri, Sun, Wed) and with so many punting opportunities begging to tantalize, it’s down to hope alone that the weather holds.
The Summerveld bottom track on Thursday, waterlogged and unusable
Unfortunately I don’t have much news regarding the runners tonight at Greyville, when I went to Summerveld on Thursday the tracks were close to unusable with very little work going on but I do plan to return there tomorrow with the hope of confirming a few winners for Sunday. This is clearly the better of the two weekend meetings so do check back here on raceday morning for the preview with news and pics fresh from the training tracks (weather permitting).
In doing my racing rounds lately I’ve got the impression that the mobile betting craze has yet to gain momentum, in fact there is a surprising number of punters still not using Interbet at all so perhaps a good idea to offer a small shove in the right direction by taking a closer look.
