A survey of RACINGPOST.com users earlier this week found that no fewer than 63 per cent of those who responded prefer jumps racing and just 21 per cent favour the Flat.

That Flat racing clearly suffers from an image problem that it needs to tackle is a truism that can be dealt with another day.
