Sports betting

I have posted on this subject before but another warning might save somebody money.
To anybody that bets &/or trades on "live" sport,beware that Supersport is misleading with it's "LIVE" tags.
Last night,the US golf,being shown live,(3rd round) had leaders on 4th hole,but the round had been completed +- 4hrs earlier.
When I queried with supersport,I was told "it was live when it came in" but the "live" tag was local,not as incoming.
Beware betting without consulting "live" websites!

"In running" always a bit dodgy unless you are at the event live with a laptop to give "you" the edge.

Industry always a bit dodgy...
frequented by "a bit dodgy" customers...
It's not the church...
so...these are our mates..

who will outscheme who..
bookies lay horses that they know cannot come back...
punters punt events where they already know the results..
fair...

Someone once said to me,

"Bookies are on a Pedestal waiting to be knocked off"

So i suppose some bookies are wise enough to stay on their "pedestal"

Personally, I like most of the bookmakers..
characters....one of a kind..
also been a bookmaker..with a 100% winning record..

However..

never seen a local bookie last...
since 1981...
have seen them fall...
they all end up where they have started..

maybe it's the proverb..
he who speculates will end up where he started...
greed comes before the fall....

the South African industry is too small for all 104 GOBA members (never mind KZN and CAPE) to make a sustained living...


my opinion..some are wiser than other...at least thats what they like to believe
some delay the process by more years than others..
but in the end...the circle does the full 360 degrees..
and end up where they have started..

Guys i will tell you what is a real shame, if you get onto the bookies website i wish i could get some of those sports bets there.They have so much especially soccer correct score etc ,but when i go into a shop they dont have it.Where can i get these bets?
