Three day Newmarket meeting-Cambridgeshire Handicap

One of the great races on the Uk calendar,first run in 1839 at Newmarket and usually won by an improving "group" class animal.Massive fields(30 runners) and predicting the advantage of the draw turns this race into a punters nightmare.

But any punter worth his salt loves to try and crack this race Card and Betting

On friday at Newmarket Team Valor has Russian Sage entered to run in a Grp3 over a mile a race that looks full of quality and would not look out of place bumped up a notch or two..Card

Also on friday there is 2 group1s for 2yo`s of either sex and Mdk has Zulu Chief entered for the Listed race..

Throw in the Arc and Super Saturday at Belmont ,Racing at it`s finest!!

Look forward to some great racing, the ARC is always a great race and with Sea the Stars out to prove he is the greatest, should complete a wonderful week.

Poor last two runs, but Russian Sage has the highest Racing Post rating, 2nd highest Top Speed, and is only 3 pounds off the top horses in the official rating. Here's hoping he bounces back to his best.
