Don't hate the boss..
retrenchments work like this..
Th CEO,CFO get a senior manager to do the retrenchments..let him be seen as the dog..
once the job is done, we retrench him..
then the board replaces the CEO,CFO etc..
so..once the retrenchments start, the boss is living in more stress than you..
deep down he knows what is going to happen..but like a fool he hopes for a different outcome..
he has been through a few retrenchments in his life, and has seen the process.
rationalise the outcome..
the bank takes back your vw
the bank takes back his bmw
both end up back on their feet..
so who falls the hardest...????
from mink to manure........
its best to be retrenched when you are a worker..
rationalise the effort..
the bank makes money with the HP on the car
the filling station makes money selling you petrol
Edgards makes money selling you clothes you need for work
the canteen at work makes money selling you lunch etc
the corner cafe makes money selling you milk, bread, newspaper on your way home
u get what is left after all the payments
R10..if you lucky..
so for R10..
the boss #$%^&*( you when you are late..
you have to do a @#$%^&*( job...
the office, PC, desk are all @#$%^&*(....
better to stay at home than get R10...?
start your own cabbage business in your backyard..
10 sq meters will yield you R4k pm...
