Its sad, but I have to agree with Andrewest.....No ways this horse returns in the same order.

What they did to him overseas having 4 HARD run races within a month is just silly.

Still I wish him and his owners all the best!!

Tommy it's not the running thats the problem..
horses are bred to run..
they can run every day..

it's the chemical engineers that got to the horse..

imagine popping 5 "E"'s....7 sleeping pills and snorting 6 lines..11:00am
now I am lining you up for a race at 14:00.....oh..you have plenty of ability..
before the chemical engineers got yo you..

what you guys dont want to hear..and face..
the horses are more gooffed than the jockeys..

no longer training the horses..
it's become chemical engineering..

testing at the jockey club..
please..
let them publish the test processes...not results..the test processes..and time duration of each activity..
let them publish the WBS (work break down structure) of every test...

then anyone with half a mind can decide...

I reckon its a good decision. He really didnt enjoy the European conditions or the courses their. He was all heart. Dubai can't be an option as dirt not his ideal surface, and the turf races will be restrictive. Keeping him in Europe is much more expensive and with the flat season almost over, it certainly makes no sense. Even the odd raid to the East might prove fruitless. Being a gelding also does not help his black type

i tend to agree with Hilton - I personally would have left the horse in the uk - let him have a rest and bring him back next year to contest more european/dubai races - this guy has had a great deal of changes in his life and stability is what he needs - also i'm not sure that there are really races for him to run in here

The fact that there is probably close to 30 horses in the UK capable of winning graded races over sprint trips, brought J J back to the pack and not out infront like he was in South Africa.

Everyone knows i got excited about J J the jet plane running in the uk and i still beleive he had a successful stint in the uk earning well over R1m in stakes and earning South African racing far much more through media exposure.

I would even say that J J alone brought more exposure than MDK training in the uk and "South Africa day" at Newmarket did put together.

Well done Lucky and the rest of the connections,i for one can`t wait for him to run again!!

It will be easier here for him to step up in distance than UK. If done successfully, then their will be rich pickings. We'll just have to wait and see
