Phumelela has a property portfolio with a book value of R' million. The residential development of 182 units around Arlington racecourse is on hold pending improved market conditions.

There are also plans for a new development at Turffontein and Phumelela has applied for the sub-division and rezoning of 12.5ha.

Seems more organisation around selling land than racing horses.

I don't believe there are anymore licences for Casinos in Gauteng. I may be wrong about one more in the far east around the Emerald area, not sure.

One of the last ones was the opening of the new casino in Krugersdorp!!

You never know though, maybe Phumelela knows more about the government than we think......They don't seem to need approval for the lights...ha ha ha ah aha ha
