Hi Boys,

I'd like to take this opportunity to explain the price on the the Hollywood ticket in question. Hollywood always tries to offer its clients a good betting experience and our 'ante-post stretch' is an example of this. We also offer a stretch at time of racing, and the first leg of the treble in question, INDIGO EXCESS was during race time betting (race time bettng is normally considered to be within half an hour of race time).

Now at Hollywood, INDIGO EXCESS was on offer during race time betting at 7/1 (probably 6/1 or 13/2 over the blower) with the other two legs of this treble being subject to the ante-post stretch: 7/1 results in an ante-post stretch of 8.333/1 and 5/1 results in an ante-post stretch of 5.563/1.

Therefore this treble worked out at (7+1) x (8.333+1) x (6.563 + 1) = 490.
490 - 1 = 489/1. The stake was R100 and therefore the bet was 48900/100.

I hope this clears up the confusion, and I thank you guys for raising this issue.
Another reason why you should bet with Hollywood: you often get more than you expect!!

I have serious reservations with Hollywood, they only like punters they know they can win from. The R50 R200 and lots of them. If you're a bigger punter they hook you in and bleed you for what you're worth. If you even look like you'll cost them money your business is no longer welcome, I've had 1st hand experience...Just saying

You're a legend AndreWest, I believe they are currently shooting a new A Team movie in Canada , with Liam Neesen in the key role, hopefully we'll pick up a few clues..

I agree Andre. There are some open spots in their armor which if targeted properly can cripple them. I hope they realise the punter never sleeps......

Spot on Andre.

You must plot against the bookies . They think we are the losers because of the punters that punt R50 , R20 and R100 most losing everyday . The day will come , thats why so few around these days.

If only they had more money...
then we could make it a worthwhile venture...
but to plan a raid on a empty castle and come back with a few gold coins..

it would be more beneficial to remarry my ex wife, she has at least got R40m..
but I'll have to start drinking...sober..I will not last...

personnaly, I think Robin Wood would have let these guys through..unharmed..

when they have R100m..call me..until then..the government is a better raid...
