Return of the feature buzz ..By Leon Setaro.

Return of the feature buzz
Back to back racing in SA all week-end with 6x feature races in total and it
starts tonight at Greyville on 'pitch perfect' track conditions. Tomorrow a
busy Saturday awaits with racing in both CPT and JHB where a host of classy
performers will be on display before the swing back to KZN on Sunday for an
afternoon at the garden course. Sharpen your pencils, load your betting
accounts and study like a school boy - this is money making time!
Tonight in KZN we have the listed R125k Michaelmas Handicap to head up
affairs but this race is somewhat overshadowed by the presence of better
horses stepping out in the preceding event, a Pinnacle Stakes race for R90k.
Not an easy punting card by any means but good racing just the same and
here's trainer James Goodman's audio podcast to take us through it -

Duration - 7min40secs, Filesize < 1meg
Track feedback
Race 3 roughie Robben Island and rider Bennie Dean!
No.2 Robben Island (20/1) - going over the distance for the first time
against a moderate bunch of maidens and rider Bennie Dean is starving for
his first win as a licensed jockey so keep an eye on this one. He really
stretches out on the training tracks putting in excellent work and the 1600m
may be just what he's looking for. Clearly race favourite No.4 Spanish
Cocktail (18/10) is the one to beat here but reserve a shout out for the
Robben Island roughie Bennie Dean to run into the money here at a big price.
Race 4 No.1 Rocabar (3/1) Craig Eudey - will need the run to bring
her on to peak
Race 5 - No.5 Irish Darling (20/1) Craig Eudey - will prefer
further but can sneak in here
Race 6 No.3 Thandolwami (7/2) Craig Eudey - 1st run back from
injury, will need it but should be thereabouts
Race 6 No.4 Lion's Blood (8/1) Frank Robinson - Doing very well
since being gelded, not at peak will need the run
Additional comments - staying with race 6 a similar story from Duncan
Howells regarding the favourite No.1 Tropical Empire (12/10) - doing very
well but not fully wound up.
In the 5th race, trainer Kom Naidoo said his runner No.8 Frozen Delicious
(7/2F) is 100% ready and he will be disappointed if she doesn't win.
All the best and do check back again here on Sunday morning for the Interbet
Clairwood racing preview, podcast and info from the training tracks.
