No.1 Shahar 3/1 (3/1) – Didn’t enjoy the sand last time out at the Vaal. Put in good work this week, she’s fit and well, expected to win
No.7 Cwebe Cwebe 16/1 (12/1) – Needs further
No.10 Hard Wood 16/1 (12/1) – Nice filly, will be at her best over further
No.12 In broad Daylight 80/1 (50/1) – Poor first effort, hoping for improvement

Race 2
No.1 Grenade 4/1 (4/1) – Pulled up fine after his run last week and is the marginal stable choice here
No.2 Count Ivansky 7/1 (5/1) – Expected to win, refer to podcast
No.3 Ritz Carlton 5/1 (5/1) – Similar story to stable companion Grenade, always finds something to beat him. Is well and a competitive run expected once again.
No.4 Greenspan 8/1 (7/1) – Will need the run
No.8 Chang Jiang 50/1 (40/1) - Has been disappointing
No.10 City of Choice 33/1 (25/1) – Green last run and needed it.

Race 3
No.1 Cash the Cheque 5/1 (5/1) – Still one run short of her best
No.3 Andante 12/1 (14/1) – Battling maiden
No.9 Cat Diamond 16/1 (12/1) – Should improve on previous efforts, place chance
No.13 Flying Pigeons 125/1 (100/1) - 1st run after gelding, will need it

Race 4
No.5 Odessey 20/1 (8/1) – Fit and well
No.8 Lead the Parade 40/1 (16/1) – Suited to distance and track conditions, doing very well at home and in with a winning chance
No.10 Miss Sushi 6/1 (7/1) – A light filly that doesn’t take much work to stay fit, doing well, place chance

Race 5

No.1 Modern Express 8/1
(6/1) – Fit enough to do himself justice
No.6 Mr.Mickey Mouse 18/10F
(14/10F) – A questionmark about how he will handle muddy track conditions, otherwise his work has been good,confident of a true to form run.
No.10 Ricky my Son 14/1
(16/1) – Went too fast early last time, he’s very well expect a good showing

Race 6

No.1 Notforpublication 25/1
(25/1) – Fit, looking well and putting in excellent work, good run expected
No.3 King James 10/1
(10/1) – Attitude and confidence now improving, fit and working well, hoping now for a better showing at the races

(3/1) – 100% fit and as well as he can be. Would be a bit more confident over 1200m and not sure how he will take to the soft conditions

No.2 Bezame 6/1 (11/2) – Fit and well, expecting a good run
No.8 Leela 16/1 (16/1) – Will need the run
No.11 Slainte 9/2 (9/2) – Doing exceptionally well at home
No.14 Society Girl 50/1 (40/1) – She’s battling, we’re not expecting much

Race 9
No.1 Nightstalker 14/1 (7/1) – Fit and well, big runner
No.2 Maritime Mist 10/1 (12/1) – Prep run to sharpen her up for a feature race in JHB next month. Doing well and a good run expected despite the distance short of her best.
No.5 Alaskan Isles 16/1 (10/1) – Doing well, chance on best form
No.6 Fenella 18/10F (18/10F) – Not the soundest of fillies but at the moment she’s fine, will love the conditions.. the wetter the better
No.10 Begeera 5/1 (4/1) – May be a bit on the short side for her but she’s doing well

Race 10

No.2 Bowles me over 20/1 (20/1) – Does not enjoy the soft
No.3 Ilana’s Isle 40/1 (25/1) – Doing well has quartet chance
No.4 Royal Highness 16/1 (25/1) – Has had knee problems but is now improving. Will be better suited to the soft ground and extra distance.
No.8 Full of Dreams 40/1 (25/1) – Pulls hard, looking for further but has a place chance
No.10 True Spirit 33/1 (33/1) – looking for more ground, place chance
