Race 1
No.3 Rahkee 7/1 – Good eachway chance
No.7 Night Time 8/1 (4/1) – rated by stable, work has been good but may still need it. In with a winning chance
Race 2
No.6 Fiery Wood 8/1 – First run for stable, a ‘hot’ filly with a reputation for being ‘mad’ at the races. Putting in good work but hard to assess at this stage
No.9 Gindondor 7/1 (4/1) – Apprentice claim will help, should earn here
Race 3
No.4 Phantomoftheopera 66/1 (50/1) – Out and out stayer, looking for even further
No.5 Delotto 18/10F (16/10F) – Expecting another good run
No.6 Silver Lord 16/1 (6/1) - Blinkers on, better run expected
No.8 Mack M 25/1 – Came through last run well, blinkers on and in with a chance
No.10 My Leige 20/1 – Needs to improve
No.13 Makulu-kulu 4/1 (7/2) - Very well, should appreciate the extra. (NB. Nominated for KZN Guiness Trial)
Race 4
No.3 Irish Darling 8/1 (5/1) – She put in very good work this week, fit and well and better this distance.
No.4 Miss Lovita 15/2 (9/2) and No.5 Miss Chatty 7/1 – both are well. Preference for Miss Lovita who needs a true run race, Miss Chatty to go to the front if there’s no pace
No.6 Ginger Hill 7/2F – Working well
No.7 Filly Bushwacker 7/2 – Doing very well and still improving
No.8 Mike’s Ideal 5/1 (9/2) – Working well, should reproduce last effort
Race 5
No.1 Fantastic Lady 3/1F (22/10F) – Should handle the shorter distance, fit enough to be competitive
No.4 Where’s Shebeen 16/1 – May need the run
No.6 Royal Line 14/1 – Loves the wet
No.9 Infrarouge 7/2 (3/1) – Looking for further and will need the run
Race 6
No.1 Raindrops on Roses 7/1 (9/2)– A bit flat last time, better run expected
No.9 Song Flight 4/1 – As well as she was last time but meets stronger here
Race 7
No.3 Richmond Park 16/1 (12/1) – Has come on since last run but may still need it
No.5 Kevinos Boy 25/1 – Enjoys the soft, he’s fit and well, good run expected
No.6 Presidential Jet 50/1 (33/1) – Working well but tough task from wide draw
No.10 Wooden it be Great 14/1 – Doesn’t jump well and battles to make up the ground over sprints.
Trying the mile trip for the 2nd time, last time was slow away and got left with too much to do, was running on at the finish
No.11 Lucky Star 16/1 – A bit on the short side, will need it
Race 8
No.2 Big Light 14/1 (12/1) – Excuses for poor last run. Fit and well, draw is a concern
No.3 Chorday 10/1 (7/1) – Tough ask from draw, place chance
No.5 Norse Sky 8/1 – Got mud in the eye last time out, ignore.
No.7 Trifolium 16/1 (14/1) – First run for stable, not sure what to expect
No.9 Newsagent 8/1 (7/1) – Doing well, big runner
No.12 The Dub 10/1 (7/1) – Needs further

In Race 3 No. 12 Danger Point - We have a small share in this horse. Dylan has re-schooled him since his last start, when he reared in the stalls and broke Donovan's nose. Dylan is very confident and believes if he puts in his work at home he will win tonight. Donovan has also ridden Jury Duty and Delotto and said he rates Danger Point better than both the other two. Don't leave him out of Pick 6's tonight and even though the 12/1 has been taken the 7/1 is still a reasonable price on him.
