Well we could say. well spotted! OK got the name wrong, but one to follow
Prizefighting set for jump up to Group 1 company
France: Prizefighting, who went into many notebooks when scoring at Kempton on Monday, is set for a quick step right up in grade to Group 1 company after being supplemented for Sunday's Criterium International at Saint-Cloud by John Gosden.
The $500,000 son of Smart Strike, quoted at33-1 in ante-post lists for the Stan James 2,000 Guineas, made an eyecatching debut on the all-weather at Kempton, where he showed a stunning change of pace to take the won in 2008 by subsequent 1,000 Guineas heroine Ghanaati.
Prizefighting, who carries the colours of Princess Haya, will now take on 11 others in the Criterium International, where he will face the Aga Khan's Marcel Boussac winner Rosanara.
Prizefighting could be joined by a handful of fellow visitors, among them the Mark Johnston-trained Layali Al Andalus, while Godolphin have declared both former Richard Hannon-trained Emerald Commander and Fareej.
Aidan O'Brien has reduced his possible challenge by a little and he can now choose between Joshua Tree, Jan Vermeer, Lord High Admiral and Midas Touch.
A total of 14 horses are still in the supporting Prix Perth, where Gosden has supplemented Expresso Star.
The Group 3 event could also feature Border Patrol (Roger Charton), Moyenne Corniche (Michael Bell), Spring Of Fame (Saeed Bin Suroor) and Zafisio (Roger Curtis), a course- and-distance after winning last year's Criterium International.
The going at Saint-Cloud is between soft and very soft and there is a band of heavy rain expected to arrive in the Paris region on Saturday night, while Sunday looks like being a horrible day with rain and a high wind.
