Kenilworth off, as expected?

Gold Circle advises that the racemeeting scheduled for Kenilworth Racecourse today, 11 November 2009, has been cancelled.



This is due to the fact that 98mm of rainfall have been received within the past 24 hours and 203mm within the past seven days.

Have had 2 calls from people who want to go through the Kenilworth card,only to be told its cancelled.Both were logged onto Tab-online so they didn't have a clue.
I am so tired of having a go at them,but can't they try a little harder?

According to the forecast the rain is expected to finally abate from this evening and no more is predicted up to and including Saturday. If this is correct the track should be raceable, if much heavier than normal for the time of year.

But don't take my word for it!

Sorry to tell u guys but at the moment its still gloomy here- had rain this morning again. Matthew is corect meant to clear a bit tonight but more rain is expected on Friday morning - then its meant to be clear- so it depends on winds and to dry and how much we have on Friday. i am in Milnerton, not that far from Kenilworth and that side gets heavier rain most of the time.
