FAIRVIEW FRIDAY THE...13TH...
15 years 6 months ago
HI CLAN...
Aother day of racing in PE...hopefully i can help a bit with some good info...
Firstly my filly "DETZKY'S DARLING" will take a crack at the Fillies Guiness Trial Plate [race 6] as my trainer decided let's see how good she really is...Easy to back at 11/1...
To be honest she is as game as they come but anyone who knows a bit about racing will know she's out of it at the weights as it's a plate race and giving plenty weight to some useful 2 time winners, but the trainer also mentioned if she's got class she will prevail. She likes the long straight, will run on at the business end, is fit and this race will tell us what she's all about. I can't complain, she cost me R10 000 and has nearly made it 5 times over...
Trainer mentiones there might be question mark over Fairy Queen being effective over 1400m but feels we all have to beat A STAR FOR MARIA...
OTHER HORSES TO RESPECT ON THE DAY...
RACE 1: - 3 NORTH ISLAND
RACE 2: - 17 QUEEN TAMARA
RACE 4: - 11 FIFTY
RACE 5: - 1 HEAR THE DRUMS
RACE 6: - 9 DETZKY'S DARLING
RACE 7: - 9 ICE CRUSHER [I used to own this] - good sort!
RACE 8: - 5 GOTHAM PRINCE
MY doubles & trebles etc... - North island, Detzky's darling, Ice Crusher & Fifty...
PS: MONDAY 16th FAIRVIEW RACE 3 - DJ DETZKY - BEST BET!!!!! Clockwatcher's should note that in his last win his time was fastest for the day over 1200m trip - beating the whole merit rated 90 handicap field on that run... goes further but should [hopefully] repeat...
HAPPY PUNTING CLAN...HOPE I'M IN FORM AGAIN...

Mr. Kruger,
Thank you once again for your honest and open approach to dealing with your horses.
I wish you nothing but the best for tomorrow's meeting as well as Monday's...I certainly will be having a tickle on both!!!
My personal fancy comes up in Race 8. I think Gotham Prince will run a big race in the last for Greef and Bylevelt.
Happy punting everyone

I think that's right. Of course there were no pinnacle plates back then and Sentinel was winning at the highest level, but it would be great if HTD gets past 30 some day.

Must say Hibernia, I quite fancied the way that first timer won. She is big and seems sensible. I'm also sure that being by Dynasty she cannot be suited by 1000m.
I should just stick to PE....Backed the first two winners. Should quit while I'm ahead right?
LOL

Great stuff, well done, but what was the jockey looking for? could have cost it the race
