Positive Comments About Tellytrack

Ladyluck posts in her thread that we all bitch about Tellytrack,so let's see if we can list some positive comments.I'd like to see some from Ladyluck too.I can only list 1.
1)Shaheen Shaw.Brilliant and the only presenter I bother listening too.Chirps are brilliant and imo he has surpassed Neil Andrews in the 'wise-crack' stakes.

Agreed. And of course we get to see the races, which is all I really care about speaking for myself.

Actually this is a very pertinent point,we get to see the horses and races which certainly beats the old days listening to the commentaries in the tote, especially when I survived the 'bomb' result in the PE PA only to find out 5 minutes later Alan Shoeman actually called all 3 horses past the post incorrectly.

The magazine shows are awesome and if we compare Tellytrack to the blower days, well the positives are endless.
For me, being able to watch most of the top foreign racing is the best. For how many years did we not SEE the best horses in the world.

I feel we are actually spoilt a bit, let me explain:
The coverage in the UK is poor, was there twice last year and trust me they cross over when the race is starting, but on big events they are fantastic
We have 24/7 with shows like Winning Ways, Inside Racing, Julie, Brent and Neil, Racing World etc, etc
Then when it comes to live racing split screen etc, must take a bit to manage due to cramped/poor racing venues.
I gather we will never? get a second channel
but I feel the commentators/presenters should use the comments on this forum as constructive rather than destructive to make the show world class and Internationally accepted.
Hibby had a good suggestion to have active feedback from the punters to the studio during racing, lets be fair we cant catch it all, but the jockey injury yesterday looked serious and we should have had feedback
I am sure the guys at home with laptops comparing Betfair/Interbet odds best bookies prices, SA interests running etc, have a lot more time than a presenter to highlight important betting moves etc, and pass them on to the punters via tellytrack.
just a thought?

I like the magazine shows too - Basel is also very good when he spots a horse going down. Top Foreign horses are good to see. I enjoy the cape and natal weight changes (saved me some cash when i hear my guy is as fat as the Xmas goose after a three-month-holiday). I enjoy owners comments when they are having their first winner in years/ever - the interviews are good if the correct questions are asked. I like Cecil's no nonsense approach in studio - he has respect for the punter and does not talk down to me. I like the replay package as it gives me a chance to review the meeting with clear eyes not influenced by my punting choices.

I am with Magic on this one; if not for TT we would not be able to see the races, and that's paramount. And then they even show us the scrolling betting - that's good as well. Would be nice to actually SEE the dividends - even more important now that the interactive service is going to be no more (although I have to say the I have stopped using that since the expected minimum payouts of the exotics seemed to be wrong more often than not); presenters are not really necessary - most of the times they just irritate the hell out of me - oops couldn't stay positive throughout.
Heaven for me would be a 2nd channel...................
