Sally Bowles Sells for $180,000

Since you won't read much of anything Team Valor related in any column written by Sarah Whitelaw, I will inform you that Sally Bowles, a filly I bought as a yearling for $24,000 at the National Yearling Sale, realized a bid of $180,000 last week at Keeneland, in foal to Proud Citizen, who is cold as ice. The filly won the KZN Guineas, was beaten a whisker in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Fillies Championship and was only placed in the U. S. I think she sold well because is such a good looking mare.

I punted the filly on a few occasions.
started off well, then went coocoo.
or was it the wrong trainer?
never the less, this filly could run..

Is this her first foal Barry?

She actually cropped up in one of my searches the other day,can`t remember what for though..lol

Yes, Sally was in foal for the first time. She was bought by Jeff Jackson, the owner of Curlin and Rachel Alexandra.
