With all this talk of Match races

With all this talk of match races this weekend Pocket Power vs Big City Life etc etc,does anyone think this is a way to get the public excited about racing?

Although they are never going to get the juices flowing for betting purposes ,a series of races at different centres between the stars of the game im sure would create some excitement?

J J the Jet Plane vs Hear The DRUMS

Zenyatta Vs Rachel Alexandra

All the publics horses that im sure the crowds would flock to see?

Bob if I remember we had 2 match races, where Divine Act beat Brainteaser one of the best days of my life
Senor Santa vs Northern Princess, where I took the wrong one!

I also know that there were a few suggested match races that never materialised.....

One in particular springs to mind.

Harry's Charm and Tommy Hotspur. Both offspring of the great Harry Hotspur.

Would have been fun allthough I know where my money would have gone!!!!!!!!!
