Another nightmare Card imo although the bookies reckon it`s easy, 7 out 10 races over sprint trips?

Casey`s Son looks the best bet on the card?

Weather forecast is crap. Yet again. But wet ground would suit Casey's Son like a million bucks in the bank would suit me!

If it somes up soft then Casey's Son is as certain to win as the pools being screwed up by comingling!!!

I also fancy a bit of "In the Mist" (especially if it is raining :D)
and Kings Wings!!

Happy punting

JACK MILNER - Couplings could come to the rescue of punters in Race 7 at Clairwood this afternoon, a MR92 Handicap over 1200m.

There will be 16 horses going to post for this dash down the straight and there are not too many runners one can write off. Fortunately there are four couplings that will assist punters in the Pick 6 and Jackpot.

Glen Kotzen sends out five runners with all of them having winning chances while Sean Tarry has two runners, both with strong credentials. In fact, it is the Tarry duo that could fight out the finish.
He runs Mr Top and Taiki Dancer who both run their best races at this track.

Taiki Dancer could prove to be the best of the pair, mainly because of her light weight of 52.5kg. Although this five-year-old mare will be taking on the colts, she has beaten them before and that was over this track and trip. It was in a MR 75 Handicap on that occasion but although she is up in class here, she will be carrying 6kg less.

Taiki Dancer has run five times at Clairwood for three wins and two places but she is drawn at No 1 and apprentice Aldo Domeyer will either have to tack over to the outside or take his chances on his own down the inside.

Brandon Lerena rides Mr Top, who was a little disappointing when beaten 6.75 lengths by Orbit War at Scottsville on Sunday but he does appear to have a preference for Clairwood.

Tiwi Bomber was narrowly beaten on Sunday and he must be respected as must the Kotzen coupling of Combat Leader, Qui Point, Mia Joshua, Whistle For Joy and Time To Travel.
