I remember them saying that they now reserve the right to choose which meeting the carryovers have to go to.
Having said that.....Surely they could have chosen a better race meeting than the one at Turffontein on Saturday.
S%^t comes to mindif I have to think of a word for this meeting. Even the Cape meeting would have been a far better option.
I guess it boils down to money right? They perceive (and rightly so?) the money to ONLY be in Joburg.
Just my 5 cents worth

Agree with all you guys, surely more interest in the Kenilworth meeting and would of generated a bigger pool, than the sh!t racing up in Gauteng...Ngong is far more attractive than some of the cards we've seen recently on the Highveld.

I have no doubt that if you go to Harrison street and go inside the Phumelela building you will fall over the bananas as you walk in the entrance way!!!
Not a collective brain between the lot.......and I mean that!

Maybe the Turff meeting does need the carryover to generate some interest!

I guess as stated above , they are primarily looking at Saturday day races where interest is the greatest. Just hope it reaches the 2.5 bar predicted.
Got a feeling it might reach further than that given the time of year
