This movie was on MNET on Friday night - do yourself a favour and watch this - it will be on again.

Probably rates in my top 5 movies of all time and it is proudly South African - Wow what an eye opener. Explains alot.

No its not horseracing - its a South African story. I appreciate my life a hell of a lot more after this and appreicate the battle for survival on the other side of my 10 foot wall!

Alcaponee... I felt exactly the same after watching it Friday night, gripping stuff! Now the Nigerians complained bitterly about being depicted as the "baddies" in District 9, even banning the film in Nigeria, and yet they kept eerily silent about this one, probably because it didn't do the box office miracles that D9 did! But a TOP class movie... make a plan to watch it!

Did anybody catch HANSIE on mnet last night? I was dissapointed. The acting was weak, the story was good but seemed disjointed and never really flowed. The woman who played Hansies wife could not master the Afrikaans accent at all.The movie never really captured me or pulled me in to the story. It is a very trageic story though and the best part of the movie was seeing the real footage of Hansie.

Very dissapointed after Jerusalema last week. Lets hope Invictus lives up to its reputation.

Hansie was a shocker... I actually couldn't watch it all the way through. Invictus is somewhere inbetween... but I walked out of the cinema a bit choked up, and actually quite proud to be a South African!!!

District 9 was brilliant.

Jerusalema = District 9 without the "prawns" = a little more scary!!! LOL
