Gold Circle advises that due soft under foot conditions the racemeeting scheduled to take place tonight (MONDAY), 14 December 2009, at Greyville Racecourse has now been abandoned.

Gold Circle (and Phumalela) should have a system in place that lets all the carded runners from an abandoned meeting have some sort of seeding or preference for nominations within say a 2 week period after abandoned meeting.

To have to start all over looking for a race and then to try and get in and then hope for a decent draw is just pure frustration.
