Meath All Star has so far failed to build on his promising bumper form over obstacles but he will surely get off the mark in the Scottish Racing Your Best bet Maiden Hurdle at Musselborough.

Sylvester was badly concussed and hurt his neck. Paul Whitmore, who I believe did nothing wrong, said Anton Marcus tried to blame him in the stewards room.
Imvho Marcus gave the winner 2 bumps early in the straight to try to make room for a run. Whitmore got first run and Marcus tried to go through a non-existent gap and caused the shit. Separate enquiry and cant see anything less than 2 weeks for Anton Marcus. This was dangerous riding.
I recall him doing something similar on Mocha Java to Fair Brutus in the Tommy Hotspur at Newmarket and getting a holiday.

Guys, lets be fair,if Marcus had just accepted the pocket he was in,and made no effort to extricate himself,he would have equally been condemned by posters as a non-trier etc etc.

Horse appeared to be OK yesterday but had multiple wounds from the fall. Will only know the extent of any damage today I would think. Gladius also suffered intereference and came back with a wound on the shoulder.
