Genie in a bottle -2010 wishes!

After my failed Genie in the bottle joke on the Soccer Schedule thread,it got me thinking...

What would you wish for with 3 wishes and lets be honest we all wouldn`t wish for world peace, would we?

Mine are quite materialistic, hoping some of you guys come up with some crackers...

1:To have enough money to look after all my family, buy any horse and visit Hugh Heffners twice a week..

2: Hibs to beat Hearts 8-0 in the Scottish Cup final

3: To bet a winner at Greyville

1. That we have a successful World Cup, show the visitors the beauty of SA, promote tourism and create jobs.

2. That Clan Classique runs a few decent races for the guys in the syndicate

3. That ABC continues to be a platform for the punters to voice their opinions and the racing operators and authorities react to this call to help promote rather than destroy racing.

Well so many possibilities, but could be summed up in one grand wish:

FIX SA RACING

by:

Re-creating Newmarket
Move the *%*% parade ring at Turffies back to where it belongs
Get rid of the *&&%^& rubbish dump at Turffies
Create an AW track
Sort out the sand track at the Vaal once and for all and get rid of the ridiculous rails down the centre of the Vaal straight - if not possible close the place down and recreate Newmarket
Sort out the co-mingling crap
Have a 2nd TT channel
Replace the RA with something that can actaully DO something and stand up for owners
Improve the off-course hellholes
etc

I thought that you would have added England do not win the world cup for if they do then you know that for the rest of your life be it 5 years or 55 years you are going to have to hear about it every single day.

1. England win the World Cup
2. Horse racing in SA gets a better image cause at present I think its at a low point from the tote to RA etc
3. All your wishes come true :)

To still be around to answer this question 365 days from now would be nice. So would having tons of cash, which would help with the Newmarket dream. Italy or SA winning the World Cup would be a bonus. I have to say the former is the much more likely, but as Scotia says, putting on a great show we can all be proud of is a goal to aim for.

As I'm not going to be in SA for the WC all I'll say about this is I wish everybody a safe and good world cup.

1) To be happy and healthy in 2K10
2) For Pockt Power to do the Queens plate and J&B Met 4-timer. (That record will NEVER be broken....not in 100-lifetimes!!!!
3) For someone to put "chappies" chewingum in the shoes of all the Phumelela hotshots!!

I'm a simple man

Lets hope our racing scandals get sorted out, secondly we have a brilliant world cup,and last i hope not to buy all the horses that run into minor placings as i could be 1 of the richest in the game this year.
