Good morning all, as the clock heads towards midnight SA time, in fact will be midnight somewhere for the next 24 hrs.
Is it special for u? For most Scots its the biggest event of the year.

We are having a party at a club in Pretoria with some friends, at 12.00 and at 2.00 we will sing auld lang syne

I will remember 2009 for a few reasons, but for mostly meeting some brilliant new friends at a box at Turffontein. To you and your fam, sing loud and be proud- heres to a great 2010. Viva Viva Clan Classique!!!!

Out with the old in with the new..

Go to bed in the middle of the day to get your self ready for the festivities,wake up make pots of stovies,broth and mince and tatties..

11:59 pour you first drink to toast the new year, wait in the house to see if anyone first fits you(about 2 mins) if no one comes grab your bottles and hit the streets and party for 3 days(stopping of at the bookies to punt Eruption)

Forecasting bad weather over the next few days.

I will be glad that 2009 is gone for the following reasons:

1. Sisters husband hung himself in her home for her to find and left her with 3 kids, one of which is only two weeks younger than Ruby. (25th June 2009)
2. My father in law past away at 56 of a heart attack whilst on a tread mill living up to a new years resolution 28 Dec 2009 or two days ago or the day before my wifes birthday.

I will be with her family tonight having a drink for her oldman and remembering the positiveness and inspiration of this man and will be looking forward to better days from tomorrow on.

Me, I will be finishing work late and then head on over to some over priced club at one of the casinos in Atlantic City.

If you feel like you had too much to drink, sit down, wait 5-minutes till the feeling passes and then drink some more!!!!

But no driving with a drink in your hands! The cops don't like that much!!
