By the way, I must say that I am amazed that the ambulance carrying the injured jockey had to wait for the race to be run before it was allowed to transport the rider to the doctor.

In America, regardless of the outcome, the racing association, the paramedic, the starter and your uncle Fred all would be sued by an enterprising attorney!

I heard that Barry. Why is the welfare of the jock not put paramount? Maybe they decided that his condition was not severe eough to warrant a further immediate checkup?

Its amazing that the commentator never picked up the fact that Upton Park stumbled BADLY and almost came down.....

I guess he has 7 other horses to call as well.

Thats it for me today. I had built up everything around Upton Park. We shall try again tomorrow I guess!!!

Just watched the replay and it looked as if Karl ran straight into the back of Palm of Peace, clipping heels and stumbling badly.

Just my opinion of what I could see.
