How pathetic is that,they could have used a helicopter to blow the water off and racing could have gone ahead,pity it wasnt a feauture day meeting then they would have made a plan.Bunch of loosers.

So one of the bigger meetings of the year in SA; and nobody is interested in posting? Or is everyone stone cold broke after the last few days?

Let me post some fancies (must be able to find that elusive acorn one day)

Race 4: Comet Chaser has uninspirong form imo - but stabel very confident, so either bank her or take the field - I do think Miss Filly will run well and is a definite inclusion in the PA
Race 5: Very open, field race again imo - favorite agian does not seem well handicapped
Race 6: The obvious ones - River Jetez and Mother Russia - either is a banker in the PA imo
Race 7: Again the 3yr old seems very harshly handicapped and there is from to suggest that Wild Kodiak should be too good at these weights; most of the others can pop up if these two fail
Race 8: Can't see the champ losing over this trip at these weights
Race 9: Irish Flame does seem the abious one, but Aim High is the highest rated horse in the field, while the 4,6 and 7 do not have much between them imo

Big storm on its way to turfies this afternoon

As an owner im quite disgusted that todays meeting has been called off,it should have been put forward to tomorrow and if that could not happen,push it onto Monday.I believe our horse had eventually had a chance of running a huge race,and as everything looked huncky dory,bang we get a "CANCELLED MEETING",who can i send my trainers bill to,pathetic unacceptable,getting more disalussioned with this game day by day.
