DO OWNERS GIVE JOCKEYS GRATUATIES?

when i started racing and my horse won a race,i use to give the jockey a "TIP"after a win,or leave it with the trainer to hand it over.As time progressed and the winners dried up,i discontinued the generosity way as it seemed as if the trainer and jockey got 7% of the winners cheque,how do you guys handle this?
