How come they get suspended for riding in the same race, but serve their bans on different days?
Jockey Bernard Fayd'herbe Suspended
The National Horseracing Authority confirms that Jockey Bernard Fayd'herbe
was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of
POCKET POWER, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to
FABIANA, when he shifted in at about the 200m mark of Race 8 at the
Kenilworth Racecourse on 9 January 2010.
Mr Fayd'herbe signed an Admission of Guilt and he has been suspended from
riding in race meetings for a period of one week from 13 January to 19
January 2010, both days inclusive.

With all due respect to Bass and PP...PP(great horse that he is) cut into Fabiani and won the race.
What would the ruling have been had Fabiani won the race after cutting into Pocket Power.
Would the race have been taken away from Fabiani ???????

Most of the top Jockeys ride for syndicates.
I know.
I played on the outside of such a syndicate.
The bookmaker sat at Turfontein Marble Arch.
He was part of the syndicate of 7.
His job was to put R200K.
I was not of the same religion, hence could not join the gang.
the same jockey riding, mostly on the VAAL.
12/10 to 18/10 favorites.
hit rate 13 from 14 punts.
this is the point..
the syndicate of 7.
who were they..
prominent racing guys..
same applies to the durban gang..
3 jockeys together riding for the syndicate
1 jetted out now..
1 riding in gauteng now..
1 no clue as to where he is..
simple..
1st 3 horses in the betting...ridden by them
back the fav...fav must win...why else is it fav...
suspensions...makes it look real...
